Lyrics

Too Young

Slowly I burn down
The walls that used to confine us
And I’ll walk away now
From anything, that’s ever held me back

And here we are standing on the threshold
Of greatness, all we have to do is give it our best
And here we are our whole lives ahead of us
So why are we just watching the world go past

But I will not be ignored
Just because we’ve been told
We’re too young, we’re too young to try
So I’ll, block my ears to negatives
And never give up my dreams
We’re too young, too young to give up

Our generations rising up
Against the constraints upon us
Society’s crumbling down
All that matters is what we do now

And here we are standing on the threshold
Of greatness all we have to do is give it our best
But when my dreams are crashing all around me
it’s harder now than ever and maybe
I’m starting to doubt

Nothing can stop us now
And no-one can tear me down

But I will not be ignored
Just because we’ve been told
We’re too young, we’re too young to try
So I’ll, block my ears to negatives
And never give up my dreams
We’re too young, too young to give up
