One more for Sinatra

The world must be put to rights

through the goggles of many bottles

so, make it one for somebody

and two more for all souls

put another line on the page

so thunderous, so true

others will come

to bend their ears

where no one will explode

we are here on the foam

with hearts above water

as benediction and ballast

holding hands across the table.
