Sycamore, sycamore

Finely cut grass
grows victorious
dominated only
by the lawn mower
and the sycamore Tree.

When the seasons are
right hundreds of
helicopters launch
to combat
the ever entrenching
children
that play under
the sycamore -
that throw helicopters
in the air
and watch them float,
fall and float under
the great sycamore Tree.

Butcher & the lamb

When the butcher
says to the lamb
“Good bye,
I’m a
vegetarian.”

One must
have tied shoe laces
and carry on.

But when
there
are no
salads,
and chickens
hang where
the lamb
once
dangled.

One
must
have
tied
shoe laces
and carry on.

My invisible emotions

Oh, I have slept
so much I no longer
dream.

Thou-lord!
Do you hear?
These pale streets,
they freeze, so
not even a car
dears to brace
the ice.

The townsmen always
gather at
churches, praying,
afraid, it’s the end!
For the end is always
near.

My emotions,
hold me hostage
for I live like the
townsmen,
always hiding.
